Safety Director (Trucking)

Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site role for Safety Director located in Chicago, IL. The Safety Director will be part of the Safety team and will be responsible for developing, implementing all safety programs with the company to ensure compliance with regulations. This includes on boarding new drivers, conducting on going safety training, implementing corrective actions and investigation of accidents with follow through to insurance claims.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in FMCSA regulations
• Proficiency in accident investigation and risk management
• Ability to develop and conduct training programs
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Able to actively collaborate with the Safety Team
• Ensure all trucking operations adhere to regulations.
