At Homey, we are revolutionizing the home-buying experience through technology, connecting various stakeholders to streamline processes for our customers. We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Accounts Manager to join our team in Colombo. The Senior Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of key client accounts, nurturing strong relationships, and identifying opportunities for growth and revenue generation. This role requires a blend of leadership, exceptional client-facing skills, and a deep understanding of our business and the UK legal sector. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with a proven track record of exceeding client expectations and driving business success, specifically through significant experience in upselling and cross-selling to increase revenue from existing clients.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of key client accounts, particularly law firms.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships based on trust and a deep understanding of client needs.
    • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction and retention through proactive communication and superior service.
  • Account Growth and Strategy:
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to manage and grow client accounts, with a specific focus on expanding client revenue streams.
    • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, including upselling and cross-selling additional products and services within existing client relationships.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including product and sales, to ensure client needs are met and new solutions are effectively delivered.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Monitor account performance against key metrics and prepare regular reports for internal stakeholders.
    • Provide market insights and client feedback to inform product development and business strategy.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with other account managers and sales teams to share best practices and contribute to overall business goals.
    • Act as a mentor to junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed.

Requirements

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Fluency in Spoken and Written English.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management or a client-facing role, preferably within the software or legal sectors.
  • Demonstrable and extensive experience in increasing revenue from existing clients.
  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of key client accounts and drive revenue growth.
  • Experience working with law firms or in the legal sector is highly advantageous.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot).
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and account management methodologies.

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a results-driven mindset.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Benefits

  • Role to be paid in GBP with a UK Contract
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience: Salary range from Rs. 500,000 - Rs. 900,000/month, paid in GBP, depending on experience level.
