Join a dynamic engineering team focused on optimizing developer productivity and accelerating innovation through robust infrastructure and tooling. This role plays a pivotal part in designing, implementing, and improving systems that enhance deployment frequency, reliability, and observability across all engineering teams. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering leadership to support seamless launches and build scalable, maintainable platforms. As a technical leader, you will mentor junior engineers and drive architectural best practices, all while working in a fast-paced, distributed environment that values continuous improvement and inclusion.

Accountabilities

  • Design, build, and maintain modern build, test, and deployment systems to boost reliability and reduce friction for engineering teams.
  • Develop scalable monitoring and observability solutions to quickly surface critical production issues.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver infrastructure that supports key company initiatives and smooth product launches.
  • Gather and act on feedback from engineering teams to continuously enhance developer tooling and platform effectiveness.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to their professional development.
  • Influence company-wide architecture decisions by actively participating in technical discussions.
  • Document systems and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and operational continuity.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related roles, with proven success in cross-team collaboration and developer tooling.
  • Strong expertise with Kubernetes (especially EKS), container orchestration, and AWS cloud infrastructure management.
  • Deep knowledge of monitoring and observability tools and practices, particularly Datadog.
  • Demonstrated experience leading CI/CD pipeline implementations that enhance developer productivity and software quality.
  • Skilled in mentoring engineers and communicating complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and translate developer needs into actionable requirements.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for complex distributed systems.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
  • Collaborative and inclusive working style, thriving in distributed teams and remote environments.
  • Passionate about continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Commitment to progressive values aligned with the organization's mission.
  • Experience with Ruby on Rails, React, service-oriented architectures, and GraphQL is a plus.
