Snowflake is searching for an exceptional Senior Director of Treasury reporting to the VP / Treasurer to help lead our high-performing Treasury team. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in developing and executing treasury strategies that directly underpin Snowflake's rapid expansion and our mission to mobilize the world's data with the AI Data Cloud.
This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in Snowflake’s Dublin, CA office.
Help lead and empower a high-performing global Treasury team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Develop complex financial models (investment analytics, capital structure, interest rate derivatives, convertible bonds, interest income forecast, FX exposure, DCF, Liability Management, etc.)
Assist the Treasurer and collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, Tax, IR, and other stakeholders to support investment and capital market activities.
Help lead and strengthen investment management relationships and capital markets banking relationships.
Champion process improvement, automation and innovative solutions to scale treasury functions. You'll partner closely with Finance and other business teams, leveraging data and automation to scale our capabilities and empower our team.
Lead investment strategies, optimizing returns in alignment with Snowflake's risk profile and liquidity needs, contributing directly to our long-term financial health.
Alongside the Treasurer proactively identify, assess, and manage financial risks and credit exposures,safeguarding Snowflake's assets.
You possess an impressive knowledge of financial theory and the ability to put it into practice.
You have a track record of impressive accomplishments in Treasury, financial analysis / modeling, investments, automation of processes and partnering cross functionally in a fast paced environment.
You have the ability to understand financial trends, translate complex market dynamics into actionable treasury strategies, and influence executive leadership.
You will have experience dealing with credit rating agencies, managing debt and capital structure strategy, including share repurchase various financing strategies.
You have deep, hands-on expertise and a comprehensive understanding of advanced modeling, complex financial risk management (FX, interest rate, credit), and strategic investment portfolio management.
You are a highly analytical thinker with a proven ability to drive efficiency and implement transformative solutions through process re-engineering and cutting-edge technology adoption.
You possess a high level of communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective influence and collaboration with executive stakeholders, external financial partners, and a proven ability to develop a strong team.
You are proactive, highly adaptable, and thrive in a dynamic, rapidly evolving, and high-pace environment.
You thrive on new challenges and complex work assignments.
Finance Degree or equivalent required; CFA strongly preferred.
