As a Senior UX Manager, you’ll lead a talented team of designers to shape and elevate the user experience across a suite of impactful digital products. This strategic role sits at the intersection of design, product, and engineering, focusing on cross-functional collaboration and design excellence. You'll drive UX initiatives from vision to execution, ensuring seamless, user-centered solutions while promoting research-backed design practices. Accountabilities:
- Mentor and lead a team of UX designers, building a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Define and communicate a design vision that aligns with broader product and business strategies.
- Partner with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure a consistent and high-quality user experience.
- Champion research-led design processes, integrating insights at every stage of product development.
- Lead strategic planning and execution for complex, multi-product user journeys.
- Govern and evolve a robust design system to support scalable and consistent design solutions.
- Facilitate design critiques and promote a feedback-driven culture.
- Advocate for UX priorities at the executive level and shape the organization's design maturity.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in UX/product design, including 2+ years managing or mentoring designers.
- Proven leadership in fast-paced product environments with hands-on UX design experience.
- Deep knowledge of cross-functional collaboration and aligning design with business goals.
- Strong systems-thinking skills and the ability to guide cohesive multi-surface product experiences.
- Experience scaling design processes, principles, and reusable patterns.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and advocate for UX strategy internally and externally.
- Comfortable leading teams through ambiguity and organizational change.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to tell compelling stories through design.
