Senior Project Manager - International Opportunity

Location: Docklands
Salary: $180,000 - $250,000 plus superannuation, travel and bonus

The Opportunity

Randstad have partnered with an international potato Manufacturing company based out of Netherlands. This client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to represent the business as the Superintendent for the construction of their brand new facility based in Victoria.

Job Summary

The Client-Side Project Manager is the primary point of contact for our clients, responsible for overseeing projects from initiation to completion. You will manage project timelines, resources, and budgets, while ensuring clear communication and client satisfaction. This role requires a blend of technical understanding, strong organisational skills, and a knack for building relationships.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main liaison between the client and our internal teams.

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverable in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget forecasts.

• Manage project progress, identifying and mitigating risks to ensure on-time delivery.

• Facilitate regular meetings and provide clear, concise status updates to clients and internal teams.

• Ensure all project deliverable meet quality standards and client expectations.

• Handle inquiries, feedback, and change requests in a professional and timely manner.

• Conduct post-project reviews to analyse project success and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a project management role, preferably in a client-facing capacity.

• Experience and understanding food manufacturing equipment standards.

• Strong understanding of project management responsibilities

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency with project management software

• Ability to manage key stakeholders simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Problem-solving skills with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Communications, Computer Science).
