Are you a passionate visual designer ready to redefine how people engage with healthcare? In this role, you’ll lead the visual and motion design strategy of a cutting-edge mobile app aimed at transforming chronic disease management. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft elegant, data-driven experiences that both inform and inspire. From high-fidelity mockups to expanding the design system, your work will enhance usability, foster trust, and bring a human touch to complex health journeys — all in a mission-driven, innovative environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead the creation and evolution of a modern, brand-aligned visual identity for mobile healthcare applications.
  • Design intuitive, visually striking interfaces that simplify complex health data and motivate user engagement.
  • Expand and refine the design system, ensuring consistent visual language, accessibility compliance, and scalable components.
  • Develop high-fidelity mockups, style guides, and visual assets using thoughtful layout, typography, and color theory.
  • Incorporate motion design and micro-interactions to enhance usability, feedback, and delight.
  • Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver cohesive, user-tested designs across mobile and web platforms.
  • Apply user insights to improve visual design decisions, continuously iterating based on feedback and behavioral data.
  • Act as a key advocate for user-centered design, balancing business goals with empathetic UX.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in visual and UX design, including 5+ years focused on mobile app UI.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating mastery in visual design, layout, typography, and design systems across both enterprise and consumer products.
  • Expertise in data visualization, motion design, and applying visual storytelling to health or tech products.
  • Proven success in leading mobile redesign projects and delivering polished, engaging experiences.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Figma and design hand-off to mobile engineering teams.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills; able to clearly articulate design rationale.
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, fine arts, UX, or related field.
  • Bonus: Experience designing AI/ML-powered features or healthcare applications.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; remote-friendly role.
