Sessional Kinder Teacher / Educational Leader / Nominated Supervisor

East Sunshine Kindergarten is seeking a passionate and experienced Sessional Kinder Teacher to join our dedicated team. This is a part-time position, requiring 33.25 hours per week, with a focus on delivering a high-quality educational program for our 3 and 4-year-old children. We're looking for a team player with exceptional curriculum knowledge and a knack for leadership to fill the role of Educational Leader and Nominated Supervisor.

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for:

• Leading a team of educators with clear communication and a collaborative spirit.

• Applying your high-level curriculum knowledge to design and implement an engaging and developmentally appropriate program.

• Fostering a positive and supportive learning environment for both children and staff.

• Taking on the responsibilities of Educational Leader and Nominated Supervisor, ensuring our center operates to the highest standards.

The Details

• Position: Sessional Kinder Teacher / Educational Leader / Nominated Supervisor

• Location: East Sunshine, Victoria

• Hours: 33.25 hours per week

• Roster:

  • Monday: 7:45 am - 5:15 pm

  • Tuesday: 7:45 am - 5:15 pm

  • Wednesday: 7:45 am - 4:00 pm

  • Thursday: 9:30 am - 2:30 pm dedicated planning time

Essential Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• VIT (Victorian Institute of Teaching) registration

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or a higher qualification

• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma management training

• Knowledge and understanding of mandatory reporting requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role within early childhood education

• Exceptional leadership and team management skills

• A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF)

• High-level curriculum knowledge and a passion for continuous learning

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Two professional references who can attest to your experience working with children
