This role offers a unique opportunity to serve as a technical advisor and strategic partner within the fast-growing renewable energy sector. You will engage deeply with clients and internal teams to tailor advanced software solutions that optimize clean energy asset performance. Acting as a key liaison throughout the sales process, you will facilitate technical discussions, guide proof-of-value projects, and ensure a seamless customer experience from initial engagement through implementation. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, consultative sales skills, and a passion for advancing sustainability in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Serve as a technical advisor supporting customer success teams during migration and implementation of renewable energy management software.
  • Lead technical presentations, demos, proof-of-value trials, and support complex sales processes, ensuring alignment of solutions with customer business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, engineering, product, and data science teams to deliver tailored solutions and gather client feedback for ongoing product improvements.
  • Manage technical onboarding and integration planning, ensuring business continuity for clients across wind, solar, and storage markets.
  • Represent the company as a technical brand ambassador at industry events and trade shows.
  • Mentor junior team members and maintain up-to-date knowledge of renewable energy technologies, SaaS platforms, and market trends.
  • Develop customer-facing documentation and ensure exceptional service by anticipating and addressing client needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software, Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering; Master’s considered an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in renewable energy, with background in technical product/project management, software development, or IoT platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Web-based IoT, SaaS, SCADA systems, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), and enterprise data solutions.
  • Strong understanding of the renewable energy landscape including utilities, EPCs, O&M providers, asset owners, and software vendors.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and complex technical challenges.
  • Outstanding communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proven ability to engage diverse stakeholders, present technical content clearly, and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies such as PMP, Agile, or Scrum is preferred.
