Role Overview

As the Spa Receptionist, you will be the welcoming face and operational backbone of the recovery zone. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, you'll play a crucial role in maximizing revenue, ensuring seamless operations, and delivering an exceptional guest experience.

You will also play a critical role in building rapport with returning members and be familiar with all offerings. By living and modelling the six pillars in your own life, you will be able to speak authentically and confidently about the benefits offered by the Recovery Zone. You will also work closely with the rest of the Recovery Zone team to ensure the best possible experience for all members at the Recovery Zone.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Revenue & Sales:

  • Maximize revenue through effective scheduling, smart yield management, and active sales of both treatments and fitness offerings.
  •  Understand our offerings inside and out, confidently describing benefits and prices

Deliver Outstanding Service: 

  • Serve as a true ambassador for the Recovery Zone, providing genuine care and attention to detail in line with our brand's protocols. 
  • You'll conduct engaging spa tours for all guests, including VIPs and prospective members, consistently recording guest preferences and updating profiles to ensure personalized service.

Manage Operations & Enquiries: 

  • Promptly and efficiently respond to all guest enquiries, whether in person, by phone, or email.
  • Maintain the reception area's impeccable cleanliness, presentation, and organization, ensuring all public information material is readily available and in pristine condition.

Professional Development & Teamwork:

  • As someone who is responsible for the booking of the treatments, you will be responsible for the massage therapist’s schedule. This responsibility must be taken seriously, ensuring a balance between maximising revenue and ensuring that your fellow colleague has enough time for a meal break.
  • Attend daily line-ups, weekly, and monthly Recovery Zone meetings.
  • Adhere to all internal standards and procedures to ensure a consistently high standard of service throughout the Recovery Zone.
  • Perform all daily tasks and other duties as assigned by your supervisor, maintaining a friendly and professional business attitude.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Passion for wellness and fitness
  • Good computer skills and being able to multitask

Nice to Have

  • A second language is a bonus
  • Familiar with spa booking software
  • Experience in luxury spas or gyms or similar settings
