The Spare Parts Planner will play a crucial role in ensuring the availability and effective management of spare parts inventory to support operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
Job Description
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies for spare parts aligned with category.
- Create highly accurate product demand forecast.
- Analyze forecast and actual consumption history of spare parts demand accurately to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Develop, monitors and report (key performance indicator’s) KPI’S & Metrics monthly.
- Preparations of daily, weekly and monthly schedule’s for delivering spare to service counters and inform relevant departments about delivery date / delay and potential issues.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operational teams to identify critical spare parts and prioritize inventory levels.
- Monitor stock levels and manage reordering processes to ensure optimal inventory without incurring excess costs.
- Evaluate supplier performance and relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality of spare parts.
- Conduct regular audits of spare parts inventory to maintain accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare reports on inventory status, turnover rates, and forecasting errors for management review.
- Collaborate closely with purchasing partners to ensure successful supply chain execution.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance spare parts planning processes.

- Act as a liaison between internal teams and suppliers to address issues related to spare parts procurement and availability.
- Formulate Business cases to support decision making for potential spare parts recovery.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management, spare parts planning, or a similar role and Similar industry such as: LG, SAMSUNG, BEEKO, BUSCH, MIDEA & Haier.
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Requirements:
