This senior financial analyst role is pivotal within a global finance team, responsible for driving financial planning, forecasting, and analysis to support strategic business decisions. You will partner closely with operational leaders and cross-functional teams to provide insightful financial reporting and variance analysis. The role involves leading budgeting cycles, long-term projections, and optimizing financial tools in a dynamic, international environment. Your expertise will contribute directly to improving cost management and profitability while navigating complex multinational operations. This position offers a remote work option with occasional travel, ideal for an analytical, proactive professional eager to make a significant impact.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and support rolling forecasts, annual budgeting, and long-term financial projections for targeted business segments.
  • Extract and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with finance and operational teams to gather budgeting inputs, contract details, and actual cost activities.
  • Develop and enhance reporting tools and dashboards using platforms such as Hyperion, SAP, and Power BI.
  • Prepare monthly variance analysis reports (actual vs budget/forecast) and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Monitor key financial and operational metrics, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.
  • Support capital planning processes and participate in user testing for financial system enhancements.
  • Build strong relationships with operational leaders to align financial strategies with business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, or a related field; relevant certifications preferred.
  • 5-8 years of advanced experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in an international, multi-entity environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP accounting standards.
  • Expertise in financial software and reporting tools such as Hyperion, SAP, and Power BI.
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively present financial information to diverse audiences.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Comfortable working across different cultures and time zones; flexible schedule and up to 10% travel required.
