- Provide hands-and-feet support in the data center for hardware troubleshooting, installations, and basic diagnostics.
- Monitor infrastructure using tools such as Nagios, Splunk, Grafana, OpsGenie, and other application-specific monitoring platforms.
- Perform issue identification, escalation, and resolution based on alerts and system health indicators.
- Operate and troubleshoot F5 load balancers to ensure optimal traffic distribution and application availability.
- Execute basic commands and perform routine tasks on Linux and Windows servers.
- Utilize Autosys for job monitoring and basic job control functions.
- Conduct AS400 system monitoring and manage scheduled backup activities.
- Work with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy) and apply knowledge of the ITIL framework for incident, problem, and change management.
- Lead and participate in bridge calls during high-priority incidents, ensuring timely communication and resolution.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
- Exhibit a proactive attitude, taking ownership of tasks and following up to ensure successful outcomes.
- Adhere to established processes and SOPs, ensuring consistent and high-quality execution.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple locations.
- Provide 24x7 support, with flexibility to work in rotational shifts and respond to on-call requirements.
