• Provide hands-and-feet support in the data center for hardware troubleshooting, installations, and basic diagnostics.
• Monitor infrastructure using tools such as Nagios, Splunk, Grafana, OpsGenie, and other application-specific monitoring platforms.
• Perform issue identification, escalation, and resolution based on alerts and system health indicators.
• Operate and troubleshoot F5 load balancers to ensure optimal traffic distribution and application availability.
• Execute basic commands and perform routine tasks on Linux and Windows servers.
• Utilize Autosys for job monitoring and basic job control functions.
• Conduct AS400 system monitoring and manage scheduled backup activities.
• Work with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy) and apply knowledge of the ITIL framework for incident, problem, and change management.
• Lead and participate in bridge calls during high-priority incidents, ensuring timely communication and resolution.
• Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
• Exhibit a proactive attitude, taking ownership of tasks and following up to ensure successful outcomes.
• Adhere to established processes and SOPs, ensuring consistent and high-quality execution.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple locations.
• Provide 24x7 support, with flexibility to work in rotational shifts and respond to on-call requirements.
