Job Description

Primary Function of Position:

Achieve along with a functional team, performance goals for Production Line. The goals will include Safety Incidents, Absenteeism, Turnover, PL, DN, NCR, Scrap, Prod Plan, Efficiency, Hour’s accuracy, Down time.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Lead or support Lean Manufacturing Initiatives A3/Kaizen/GB/PM.
  • Work closely with all support departments to resolve daily production issues.
  • Train, develop, enforce adherence to the applicable DOP and SOP of Quality System & Manufacturing.
  • Perform Interviews, hire and train employees plan, assign and manage workload to monitor their development plans (TAP), reward and discipline employees, manage conflicts.
  • Plan, supervise, drive improvement and report production performance (Output/Yield/RCA/Efficiency).
  • Onboarding, tracking requirements for new employees.
  • Deploy and sustain IPS Initiatives (Std work/Tiers/VSM/6S/CI Program/RCA.
  • Motivate, provide expectations and feedback quarterly and on stand-ups.
  • Adress line support issues/ Document, Report, and escalate any problems or concerns.
  • Learn and enforce company safety policies and practices, QA Audits, Safety Projects, 8D.
  • Revise Manufacturing Process Instructions to ensure that MPI is accurate, or propose improvements.
  • Annual Performance Reviews / One on One.
  • Review and disposition discrepant material, improve material usage and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive our culture strategy by fostering our mission, principles, leadership expectations, create ex survey action plan.
  • Work closely with corporate engineering on production line transfers or improvements as required.
  • Support corporate Quality improvement CAPA implementations and lead QA improvements.
  • Assist engineering FMR.
  • Ensure completion of ISU Training for self and employees.
  • Support process validation.
  • Responsible to do purchase requisitions for line when it is required.
  • Assist budget spending preprocess, participate in reviews and controls reports to execute on time.
  • Review ECO to determine the impact for production.

Qualifications

Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:

  • External Candidate Minimum 5 years of either supervisor or Engineering experience.
  • Candidate bachelor’s degree on related fields.
  • Strong working Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
  • Great Communication skills, including written and verbal instruction.
  • Collaboration and cross functional teams.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English.
  • Experience in Manufacturing Process.
  • Proficient in the use of personal computers, familiar with Microsoft Office, MRP, SAP and Agile preferred.
