This role plays a strategic and influential part in talent acquisition within the mortgage sector, working closely with business units and leaders to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping shape talent management plans and providing expert guidance to meet organizational goals. Accountabilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to assigned business units or groups, influencing talent acquisition strategies.
- Design and execute targeted recruitment plans to attract specialized mortgage talent.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand hiring needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions.
- Provide expert advice on talent acquisition best practices, coaching hiring managers and recruitment teams.
- Analyze sector trends and talent market data to inform recruitment strategies and decision-making.
- Lead and participate in change management and communication plans related to talent initiatives.
- Develop regular and ad hoc reports and dashboards to track recruitment performance and business impact.
- Manage complex recruitment projects and resolve strategic issues independently while aligning with business objectives.
Requirements
- Typically 5 to 7 years of relevant professional experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.
- Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven expertise in recruitment strategies, particularly in specialized or complex talent markets.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision making.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Sound judgment and autonomy in managing non-routine situations and projects.
