Accountabilities:

  • Lead the design, development, deployment, and optimization of complex web applications focused on performance and reliability.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a collaborative and inclusive engineering culture.
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver customer-facing features with business value.
  • Ensure scalability and maintainability of the codebase through strong engineering best practices.
  • Build, test, and iterate on user interfaces using React or modern frontend frameworks.
  • Utilize DevOps tools to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Monitor and improve frontend application performance using tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in general-purpose programming languages including JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or Go.
  • 5+ years working with modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue.js, Angular, or Ember.
  • Proven experience building, operating, and evolving scalable web applications.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in leadership roles, such as mentoring, tech lead, or engineering manager.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including ECS, Lambda, and S3.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
  • Bonus: Exposure to digital advertising platforms like Google AdWords or Facebook Ads; experience with machine learning systems.
