This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of Human API. We are currently looking for a Strategic Account Manager, VitalChek in Tennessee (USA).

This role is a great fit for a seasoned sales professional with a strong background in government accounts and a passion for delivering impactful, data-driven solutions. As a Strategic Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with local government agencies by offering secure, efficient identity and vital records solutions. Your work will directly support public sector transformation, combining sales strategy, client engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to drive revenue and improve community outcomes. Travel and on-site interaction will be part of this dynamic, high-impact role.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow revenue across a defined list of named government accounts.
  • Identify trends, assess revenue opportunities, and implement targeted sales activities to exceed monthly and annual objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at local government agencies.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Use data analysis and research to uncover customer needs and align solutions accordingly.
  • Represent solutions at industry events and tradeshows to build brand awareness and client engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 10 years of proven solution sales experience; familiarity with payment processing is a plus.
  • Prior experience in selling to the government sector is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client relationship skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
