Structural Engineer
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Pacific Time, with a 30-minute break
Salary: $1,200 per month
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team specializing in the design and analysis of multi-level heavy storage buildings. These projects require a strong understanding of unique load-bearing systems and construction methods specific to industrial and storage facilities.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience with structural design, analysis, and detailing for large-scale, high-load buildings and be comfortable working on complex projects that demand precision and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, analyze, and detail structural systems for multi-level heavy storage buildings.
- Perform load calculations, stress analysis, and structural modeling.
- Prepare and review structural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
- Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective designs.
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable building codes, seismic requirements, and industry standards.
- Provide engineering support during the construction phase, including reviewing submittals and resolving field issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in structural design, ideally with industrial or storage buildings.
- Strong knowledge of structural systems, including steel and reinforced concrete.
- Proficient with structural analysis software such as ETABS and SAFE.
- Excellent understanding of building codes and seismic design requirements.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with heavy load-bearing structures and multi-level industrial facilities.
- Familiarity with BIM coordination processes.
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
