This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to shape and drive the company’s financial strategy during a period of rapid growth. As SVP of Finance, you will provide strategic insight and hands-on management of financial planning, analysis, accounting, and fundraising activities. You will work closely with the executive team and board to align financial goals with business objectives, lead a growing finance team, and ensure operational efficiency and compliance. This role is perfect for a seasoned finance professional passionate about scaling finance functions in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies to support sustainable growth and business goals.
  • Serve as a key financial advisor to the executive leadership team and board of directors.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling.
  • Oversee accounting operations, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage fundraising efforts, investor relations, treasury, and risk management.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on contracts, compensation strategies, and financial policies.

Requirements

  • CPA certification or equivalent is required.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with strong expertise in FP&A.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in SaaS or high-growth tech companies preferred.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing finance teams.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS financial metrics and business drivers.
  • Exceptional analytical, financial modeling, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging with boards and investors.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.
