In this role, you will:

• Provide remote desktop support to ensure seamless operation of IT systems and enhance user productivity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and improve system reliability.
• Collaborate with team members to implement IT solutions that align with organizational goals and improve efficiency.
• Maintain and update documentation of IT processes and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement to optimize resource utilization.
• Assist in the deployment and configuration of hardware and software to support business operations.
• Ensure security protocols are followed to protect company data and maintain confidentiality.
• Offer guidance and support to users to enhance their understanding and use of IT resources.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of IT services and solutions.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of IT strategies and plans.
• Stay updated with the latest technology trends to recommend innovative solutions for business challenges.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving IT support processes and user satisfaction.
• Support the IT team in various projects and initiatives to drive organizational success.

What you need to succeed:

• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively address technical issues.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills to interact with users and team members.
• Have a solid understanding of desktop support and remote troubleshooting techniques.
• Show proficiency in configuring and maintaining hardware and software systems.
• Exhibit a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies.
• Display the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
• Hold a relevant degree or certification in Information Technology or a related field.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
