Desktop Engineer - Field Support

Job Summary

We are seeking a Systems Engineer with 3 to 6 years of experience in Desktop Support - Remote within the Industrial Manufacturing domain. The role involves providing technical support and ensuring seamless operation of desktop systems. The position is hybrid with day shifts and no travel required. The ideal candidate will contribute to optimizing system performance and enhancing user experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote desktop support to ensure seamless operation and user satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Implement and maintain security protocols to protect sensitive data.
• Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
• Document technical issues and resolutions for future reference.
• Assist in the deployment and configuration of new desktop systems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
• Conduct regular system audits to identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Offer training and support to users to enhance their technical skills.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software procurement.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Contribute to the development of best practices for desktop support.

Qualifications

• Possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrate proficiency in remote desktop support tools and technologies.
• Have experience in the Industrial Manufacturing domain.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Show ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Display knowledge of security protocols and data protection measures.
• Hold a degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

Salary and Benefits:

The annual salary for this position is between $[63,000- 74,500] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
