Telehealth Physical Therapist

This role offers the chance to provide expert musculoskeletal care through virtual patient assessments and thorough clinical chart reviews. As a licensed physical therapist, you will evaluate patient functional status remotely, ensure treatment plans meet evidence-based standards, and support high-quality, outcome-driven care. Working in a flexible, remote environment, you will collaborate with internal teams to enhance program performance and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented clinician passionate about delivering safe, consistent care through telehealth.

Accountabilities:

• Conduct virtual clinical assessments to evaluate patients’ functional status, physical limitations, and therapy needs according to musculoskeletal program protocols.
• Review patient charts and documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and clinical appropriateness.
• Document evaluations, findings, and treatment recommendations clearly and promptly within Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Assess alignment of care plans with evidence-based musculoskeletal standards and escalate red flags or gaps in care to clinical leadership.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support quality assurance, program optimization, and compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
• Participate in clinical and operational initiatives to continuously improve patient care delivery.
• Stay current with evolving evidence-based practices and program advancements.

Requirements

• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program or equivalent education eligible for U.S. licensure.
• Active, unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the U.S.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in musculoskeletal or orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Experience with clinical chart review, quality assurance, and care plan development involving multidisciplinary coordination.
• Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with regulatory and industry standards related to clinical documentation and protocols.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and navigate EHR systems effectively.
• Multi-state licensure or membership in the Physical Therapy Compact is a plus.
