About the Role

Join the Enterprise Services team as a Vehicle Relocator in Ballarat! This is a pivotal role that supports essential fleet operations. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient relocation of vehicles and equipment across Victoria. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated individual who excels at working autonomously while being a key member of a small, collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient and safe relocation of fleet vehicles throughout Victoria.

  • Follow instructions from the Fleet Operations Coordinator to prioritize vehicle movements.

  • Deliver and exchange vehicles and equipment with crews at branches, hospitals, and other nominated locations.

  • Proactively report any vehicle defects or issues to the Fleet Operations Coordinator.

We are seeking a proactive and autonomous individual with excellent interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be a great team player who can also work independently to achieve their goals.

  • Ability to Work with Autonomy: You are self-motivated and can work independently to complete tasks and move toward departmental goals.

  • Proactive & Initiative Capabilities: You can identify and report safety issues, hazards, or vehicle defects as a priority to the relevant manager.

To be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Possess a current Victorian Driver Licence (manual capable and preferably Light Rigid category or above) and provide a full driving history from Victoria and any other states or territories.

  • Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and navigate a road map.

  • Strong verbal communication skills to communicate factual information to others.

  • Willingness to travel throughout Victoria, including potential work outside of normal business hours and overnight stays.

  • Team skills to actively participate as a member of a team.

  • Customer service orientation to take responsibility for understanding client needs and ensuring they are met.

  • Attention to detail, using appropriate checking processes to ensure information is recorded accurately.

  • Desirable: Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook.
