Trickle Up is looking for a digitally-savvy Ad Specialist to help amplify our ads department.
In this role, you'll go beyond just running ads. You'll be at the center of our data-driven, impact-focused marketing strategy, developing and optimizing campaigns that tell real human stories and drive real results.
If you're someone who doesn't just "know" Google Ads and Meta Ads but knows how to connect data across platforms using Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and conversion APIs, this role is made for you.
Responsibilities
- Plan, launch, and optimize paid media campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram), and LinkedIn, with a focus on both conversion and mission-driven awareness.
- Build and manage Google Tag Manager containers, and implement event tracking that ties user behavior to campaign outcomes.
- Ensure seamless integration between Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Google Analytics (GA4) to capture full-funnel data and conversions.
- Produce and test compelling ad creatives (copy + visuals) that align with Trickle Up's values and storytelling.
- Use A/B testing frameworks to continuously improve ad performance across platforms.
- Analyse campaign data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for budget optimization.
- Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to align advertising with broader campaign goals.
- Stay current on trends in non-profit advertising, platform updates, and data privacy regulations.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in digital ad campaign management across major platforms.
- Proven experience managing Google Ads and Meta Ads with a minimum $10,000 Ad Spend, including custom conversions and audience segmentation.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Google Tag Manager, GA4, and event-based tracking.
- Solid understanding of conversion tracking, remarketing strategies, and attribution models.
- Experience running campaigns for nonprofits or charities is a strong plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from data and clearly communicate performance metrics.
- Creativity in storytelling through ads with strong copywriting instincts.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in a cross-functional team.
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with Google Grants or Meta Ads for Nonprofits
- Familiarity with Dental CRMs like DenGro or marketing platforms like HubSpot or GHL.
- Experience using Looker Studio (Data Studio) for reporting
