This role is ideal for someone who understands copywriting frameworks, the nuances of storytelling in driving engagement and conversions across social media, websites and landing pages. You will be someone who leverages AI but knows how to shape content into something original, on-brand and scroll-stopping.
As a Creative Copywriter, you will work closely with the marketing team to create compelling, conversion-driven content for Trickle Up and our UK-based clients. From social media and ad copy to SEO-friendly blogs, case studies, landing pages and more, you will bring a consistent tone of voice and sharp copy to every piece of content you touch.
Responsibilities
- Write clear, engaging and well-structured content across digital platforms: social media, websites, blogs, email campaigns, digital ads, case studies and landing pages
- Develop creative concepts and messaging that align with brand objectives and campaign goals
- Use SEO best practices to optimise content for search visibility and performance
- Collaborate with design, SEO and client teams to create cohesive and effective marketing content
- Ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging across different formats and platforms
- Understand and apply principles of marketing funnels to guide content strategy at each stage
- Conduct research on industry trends, UK audiences and competitors to inform content development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications or a related field
- 2–4 years of proven experience as a copywriter, ideally in a marketing agency or performance-focused environment
- Strong portfolio showcasing a range of content, including short-form and long-form, creative and conversion-focused pieces
- Excellent written English with flawless grammar, tone, and style (British English required)
- Solid understanding of SEO writing, keyword optimisation and on-page content structure
- Knowledge of how content functions within digital marketing funnels and lead generation strategies
- Comfortable managing multiple content pieces and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, ideas-first mindset.
Desirable Skills
- Experience writing for UK audiences and B2Bc, B2C brands
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as SurferSEO, Ahrefs or SEMrush
- Knowledge of CMS platforms like WordPress
- Experience is creative writing for social media, ad copies, and website
