We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Officer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing both accounts payable and receivable, and supporting month-end reporting. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values accuracy, and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams. 

Key Responsibilities 

📚 Bookkeeping & General Reconciliations

  • Keep our financial records accurate and up-to-date
  • Manage Accounts Payable – enter supplier invoices, flag any odd activity, and keep solid supplier relationships
  • Handle Accounts Receivable – invoice clients and work with the team to stay on top of payments
  • Run regular reconciliations: BAS/IAS, bank accounts, credit cards, superannuation, payroll tax, GST, PAYG, FBT and tax installment calculations.
  • Prepare month-end reports like a pro 🧠

🤝 Admin & Support Tasks

  • Process payroll for the group
  • Chase missing info (we’re looking at you, incomplete invoices!)
  • Load contracts and take care of essential data entry
  • Collaborate with the AU team and suppliers to keep everything running smoothly

📊 Financial Reporting & Oversight

  • Monitor company cash flow 💸
  • Provide data for budgets, forecasts, and year-end reporting
  • Support external accountants with reports and documentation
  • Keep the GM Finance in the loop with clear financial insights
  • Help make finance processes better, faster, and smarter 🚀

Requirements

What We’re Looking For 

  • At least a Certificate IV in Bookkeeping / Finance / Accounting
  • 3–5 years of experience in a finance or bookkeeping role
  • Experience with MYOB (a big plus!)
  • Great communication skills (written and verbal)
  • A keen eye for detail – you double-check everything
  • The ability to manage your time and meet deadlines like a pro
  • A collaborative spirit – you're a team player through and through
