Senior React Developer & Team Lead

As an Independent Contractor, this role is a combination of leadership and team management, as well as being an individual contributor in a Senior React Developer capacity.

Technical leadership and team management responsibilities:

• Leading a team of front-end engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship
• Delegating tasks and ensuring timely delivery of milestones
• Facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Reviewing and approving code contributions from team members
• Supporting onboarding and skills development of junior Engineers
• Acting as the primary point of contact for engineering-related decisions within the front-end team

As an individual contributor, you will be a key contributor to the front-end development of SysTrack, our AI-driven Digital Employee Experience (DEX) platform.  This role requires a solid foundation in web UI development and user interface design, along with experience in databases and data visualization. Requirements

• Refactoring and optimizing front-end code for performance and scalability
• Building responsive, user-friendly web UIs
• Collaborating with engineering and product teams on feature implementation
• Creating and enhancing data visualizations to make complex data clear and actionable
• Participating in Agile processes, including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Experience

• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field
• 3-5 years' experience in front-end development
• Fluency in English is essential
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and frameworks like React
• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
• A drive to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for solving problems through technology
