The Senior Video Editor/Videographer plays a crucial role in shaping visual narratives through high-quality, engaging video content. This position combines hands-on videography with expert-level editing to deliver polished, brand-aligned videos that connect with the intended audience.

In addition to executing creative work, this role takes the lead in developing visual storytelling strategies, managing production workflows, and collaborating closely with internal teams and partners. It’s a perfect fit for someone who brings a balance of technical precision, creative vision, and leadership to every project.

Key Responsibilities

Video Production

• Collaborate with the creative team to plan and execute engaging video shoots.
• Capture high-quality footage, ensuring optimal lighting, composition, and audio quality.
• Operate video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio gear.

Video Editing

• Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling and cohesive videos.
• Apply color correction, visual effects, and sound enhancements as needed.
• Create engaging transitions and animations to enhance storytelling.
• Ensure videos meet specifications for various platforms (e.g., social media, website, presentations).

Storytelling

• Develop and maintain a profound understanding of the brand's message and vision.
• Craft engaging narratives that resonate with the target audience through video content.
• Organization and Workflow
• Maintain a well-organized digital library of footage, graphics, and project files.
• Meet project deadlines and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Collaboration

• Collaborate with team members, including graphic designers, writers, and marketing professionals, to create cohesive video content.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions into video projects effectively.

Reporting & Adhoc

• Generate insightful reports on video performance metrics and suggest improvements.
• Tackle ad hoc video projects with creativity and efficiency.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

• Senior professionals (5–6+ years) often lead projects or teams, manage creative direction, and work directly with clients. They typically have strong portfolios and niche specializations in real estate.
• 5 years or more of hands-on experience in videography virtualization is desirable,
• Preferred bachelor's degree in Multimedia Arts, Film or Cinematography, Graphic Design or Visual Arts, or Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field (or equivalent experience).
• Extensive background as a videographer and video editor with a robust portfolio showcasing impactful work.
• Mastery of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe After Effects).
• In-depth knowledge of video equipment, encompassing cameras, tripods, lighting, and audio recording gear.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling techniques, demonstrating the ability to craft engaging narratives.
• Knowledge of video compression, codecs, and various video formats.
• Excellent written and oral communication, fostering effective collaboration within the team.
