Transport Planner

Unilabs
Full-time
On-site

As a Transport Planner, you play one of the most crucial roles within our logistics department. With your planning skills and forward-thinking mindset, you ensure an optimally organized transport process. You alternate between day-to-day operational planning and strategic planning, while also implementing structural improvements. Transport providers, laboratories, front office, account managers, suppliers, and clients — you are the vital link between them all! Office shifts run from 07:00 to 17:00, and you’ll work 8-hour shifts within that timeframe.

What makes this role unique? You’ll be part of a young and dynamic organization in the middle of a major transformation. That means challenge, impact, and room for growth. Your work truly matters — you directly contribute to a smoothly functioning healthcare system in the Netherlands. And good to know: there are no evening or weekend shifts.

The road to success

You’ll work with a wide range of stakeholders, making each day different. You thrive on unexpected situations and take a proactive, solution-oriented approach. It gives you energy to optimize the transport process so that it works for everyone. You’ll achieve this by:

●   Providing management with improvement insights and implementing them together with your team;

●   Managing the fleet (approx. 40 vehicles);

●   Coordinating with the front office and laboratories;

●   Holding regular consultations with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

●  A completed MBO level 4 education with experience, or a HBO degree;

●   1–5 years of experience in a logistics environment;

●   Experience in scheduling shifts and planning routes, preferably using planning software (such as PTV);

●   Strong analytical skills and a head for numbers and data (KPIs);

●   Digital proficiency and knowledge of Excel;

●  Being Fluent in Dutch

●  Strong communication skills, including in English;
